Armed forces observe 67th martyrdom anniversary of Major Tufail Muhammad

Armed Forces of Pakistan, solemnly observed the 67th martyrdom anniversary of Major Tufail Muhammad Shaheed.
Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, General Sahir Shamshad Mirza the Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee, Admiral Naveed Ashraf chief of Naval Staff, Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmad Babar Sidhu Chief of the Air Staff.

Along with the Armed Forces of Pakistan, they solemnly observed the 67th martyrdom anniversary of Major Tufail Muhammad Shaheed, Nishan-e-Haider.

Major Tufail Muhammad embraced martyrdom while fearlessly engaging the enemy in the Lakshmipur sector of the former East Pakistan.

He displayed exceptional bravery and led his troops in a daring assault.

Despite being critically injured, he continued to fight with unwavering determination and completed his mission.

In recognition of his unmatched courage, he was awarded the Nishan-e-Haider — Pakistan’s highest military honour.

On this solemn occasion, the Armed Forces of Pakistan paid rich tribute to Major Tufail Muhammad Shaheed and all martyrs who sacrificed their lives in defence of the nation.

Their legacy of bravery, patriotism, and selflessness continues to inspire future generations.

Pakistan remains eternally indebted to its martyrs, whose sacrifices uphold the peace, stability, and sovereignty of our beloved homeland.

We salute our heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice for the defence of Pakistan. Their courage and devotion shall never be forgotten.
