Pakistan Bar Council Raises Alarm Over Rising Court Fees

Pakistan Bar Council has expressed concerns over amendments to Supreme Court Rules 2025 and increase in court fees.

Pakistan Bar Council met under the chair of Yasin Azad in Islamabad. Pakistan Bar Council has rejected increase in court fees by terming it an attack on the fundamental right to justice. 

Pakistan Bar Council has called for all-party conference in Islamabad on September 27 to discuss the issue. Representatives of political parties and bar associations will participate in the APC. 

Pakistan Bar also condemned CTD raid on Justice R. Zahoor Ahmed Shahwani's house. He said entering a house without a search warrant is a violation of the constitution, law and civil liberties.
