Abducted Assistant Commissioner rescued in Balochistan after three months

Tump Assistant Commissioner Muhammad Hanif Noorzai was recovered on Wednesday, almost three and half months after he was kidnapped in Balochistan. Kech Deputy Commissioner Bashir Barich confirmed the news of Noorzai's recovery.

Noorzai was abducted by unknown armed men on June 4 when he was returning home on June 4 to celebrate Eid.

However, his kidnappers left his family, driver and gunman behind. Later, a banned militant organization claimed responsibility for his abduction.

Noorzai was recovered on Wednesday night and then taken to Quetta by a special plane of the Balochistan government.
