Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori pays visit to Afghan Consulate in Karachi

Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tessori visited the Afghan Consulate in Karachi on Sunday, where he was warmly welcomed by Consul General Syed Abdul Jabbar Takhari and the consulate staff.

During the meeting, Governor Tessori expressed deep sorrow over the recent earthquake in Afghanistan’s Kunar and Nangarhar provinces, extending heartfelt condolences and solidarity to the victims and their families.

He also assured the Afghan officials of Sindh’s full support and cooperation in all possible areas.

Accompanying the governor was Dr. Farooq Sattar, senior leader of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan (MQM-P), highlighting a shared commitment to humanitarian aid and regional collaboration.

In a detailed discussion held at the consulate, both sides exchanged views on enhancing Pak-Afghan bilateral trade and addressed other matters of mutual interest, particularly in the realms of economic cooperation and cross-border relations.

As a mark of goodwill, Governor Tessori also signed the condolence book, recording his message of sympathy and unity with the Afghan nation in this time of grief.
