Pakistan security forces neutralized eight Fitna al Khawarij militants during a targeted operation in Lakki Marwat, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. According to security officials, the intelligence-based operation was conducted on October 24 in the Wanda Sheikh Allah area, where eight militants were killed and five others sustained serious injuries.

Officials confirmed that the operation was executed with precision, leaving the militants with no route of escape.

A subsequent search operation is underway to clear the area amid fears of additional militant presence.

Security sources said that under the National Action Plan, operations will continue relentlessly until the complete eradication of Fitna al Khawarij elements and the full restoration of peace in the region.

They further revealed that growing internal rifts have weakened the group in recent months.

Several of its key operatives were intercepted during border movements, leaving its leadership fractured and demoralized.

Meanwhile, Fitna al Khawarij commander Noor Wali reportedly ordered his fighters to avoid using mobile phones to prevent detection by security agencies.

The leadership has also directed zealots to hide among civilians and use the original population as securities during operations.

Reports further reveal that kirks and guest houses have been exploited for making extemporized explosive bias( IEDs) and for sheltering fighters.
