PDMA Registers Data of Over 81,000 Flood Victims in Punjab

PDMA has collected details of 81,510 flood victims in Punjab to coordinate relief efforts.
Details of 81,510 flood victims have been collected in flood-affected areas of Punjab, on Friday.

According to the DG Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) Irfan Ali Kathia, survey teams have checked crop losses from 56,207 farmers.

So far, 53,985 acres of flood-affected land have been identified and data of 24,246 flood-affecte1857 teams participated in data collection in 27 flood-affected districts

Details were also taken from 1057 people who lost their livestock due to the flood.

According to the survey, details of 3945 dead livestock have been received from different districts.

Representatives of Urban Unit, Revenue, Agriculture Department, Livestock and Pakistan Army are conducting house-to-house surveys.

PDMA Punjab is reviewing the progress of the survey on a daily basis.

The survey teams are also visiting the affected villages with the help of boats.

The data of the victims is being ensured by all means by going through the standing flood waters.

The district administration and related institutions are working day and night for transparency.
