Unpaid Teachers’ salaries, BISE Lahore suspends staff leaves

The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Lahore cancelled leaves of staff over non-payment of dues to supervisory teachers.

According to details, despite the passage of seven months, thousands of teachers who performed their duties as supervisory staff in the matric and intermediate examinations are unable to get their outstanding dues.

On the other hand, BISE Lahore expedited the process to transfer the amount into the bank accounts of supervisory staff, and 6500 teachers already received their dues.

The BISE said that the dues of only those teachers who have failed to submit their bank accounts were still pending.

The BISE officials said that as soon as these teachers will submit their bank account numbers to the relevant department, the amount will be transferred into their accounts immediately.

The Board officials advised the supervisory staff to submit their bank account numbers to receive their outstanding dues.
