PIA’s Paris Lahore flight delayed, passengers stranded

Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) flight PK734 from Paris to Lahore has been grounded for over two days due to a technical fault, leaving passengers including women, children, and elderly people stranded at Charles de Gaulle Airport.

The flight, originally scheduled to depart on August 8 at 5:30 pm local time, was delayed, with passengers claiming they received no clear updates on its resumption, leading to growing frustration.

According to a PIA spokesperson, a technical problem was found in the engine of the Boeing 777 after it arrived in Paris from Islamabad.

The same aircraft was scheduled for the return flight to Lahore, causing disruptions across PIA’s schedule.

PIA officials stated that engineering teams are working to fix the issue as quickly as possible to restore flight operations.

In the meantime, all stranded passengers have been accommodated in hotels in Paris.
