Ruling Sharifs weigh key strategies at scenic Dunga Gali retreat

Security remained on high alert as Nawaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz had been in Changla Gali since the previous day, while Shehbaz Sharif joined them today.
Roadside markets along the route were closed ahead of his arrival.
The three leaders gathered in Dunga Gali for a high-level consultation, focusing on the prevailing political landscape and key governance issues.
The meeting discussed the country's political situation, government matters, and party affairs, while the performance of the federal and Punjab governments was also discussed.
It may be recalled that the Sharif trio had also spent the last two weekends in Changla Gali and Dunga Gali ahead of the Senate elections.
Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, along with her father and PML-N President Mian Nawaz Sharif, travelled from Murree to Dunga Gali.
According to the channel, a high-level meeting was expected in Dunga Gali to discuss the country’s political situation and devise a strategy for the upcoming Senate elections.
The presence of the ruling Sharif family’s top leadership in the scenic hill station has attracted the attention of political analysts, highlighting the significance of the looming Senate vote and the party’s internal strategy-making.
