Karachi Airport cancels 8 domestic and international flights

Eight domestic and international flights from Karachi’s Jinnah International Airport (JIAP) were unable to take off on Monday due to various technical and operational issues.

Among the cancellations, Thai Airways flight TG-342 to Bangkok and Emirates Airlines flight EK-609 to Dubai were called off.

Domestic carriers were also affected: Air Sial flights PF-125 and PF-123, scheduled to land at New Islamabad International Airport (NIIA), failed to reach their destinations, while Airblue flight PA-200 to Islamabad was unable to depart from Karachi.

Passengers were advised to stay in contact with their airlines for rescheduling and updates.

Two flights of Air Sial PF-143 and PF-145 were cancelled.

These flights were scheduled to land at Allama Iqbal International Airport (AIIA), Lahore, from Karachi.

A Pakistan International Airlines flight PK-306, was cancelled.

The flight was scheduled to take off from Jinnah International Airport Karachi for Lahore.
